the AFL cup

rodcub and taptam_76 next week.
I was discussing withhaanzsprungveld about the AFL grand final because his sister is getting married on that day. he was like 'well, they knew that most perth people are eagles and dockers fans... so they knew that most people wouldn't care too much about the game ;)' and my first thought was thats something you expect to hear from a family thats supports worst coast. i said 'I am a dockers fan and rod and matt are dockers members, but it is the grand final, so we still care. dockers supporters are different from west coast supporters though. we love the game and we support a team. west coke supporters love a team, but dont care for the game'
lachlan: that's cos you never get the GF... it's different once your teams won ;)
jakie: nup, it is the the GF. matt the rat is a hawthorn supporter and he watches every gf religiously
but the GF is Geelong V Hawthorn anyway. Hawthorn have a history of winning in the GF against the team that has dominated all season, and their performance this weekend was better than the performance we expected and geelong wasn't as great. I still think it will be Geelongs year, though it will be close. Next year is Hawthorns.
As for the Dockers, I am looking forward to them getting the premiership in 2018... sometimes i am such an optimist.
