First Eurovision Post for 2005

Some Countries have already decided what to send to Belgrade this year. They are mad. Today I listed to a couple of National finalists

Croatia's National final is called Dora... better Known are Bore-a because every Croatian Eurovision entry turns out be by a whiny Ballad... Boring.

Dora is massive and there is like 20 songs or something stupid. here is the first instalment of Coratia

Prequalified songs for the Dora Final:

* Mirno spava kosa plava - Alen Islamović - Whiny Ballad
* Vila - Prva Liga i Druge - whiny ballad

Dora 2008 semi final songs:

* Kakav tužan kraj - Ivana Radovniković -pretty cool Jazzy song
* Tvoje oko za more duboko - Klapa Bonaca and Nera - whiny ballad
* Ja san umra za ljubav - Đani Stipaničev -whiny ballad
* Iskoči sa mnom iz jurećeg vlaka - Ibrica Jusić -whiny ballad
* Za tobom luda - Zorica Kondža -another pretty cool song
* Ne razumijemo se - Mor Roll - not too bad song

OK, the night before the final, the semi-finalist fight it out for a place in the final. $5 says all the good songs get into the final and one of the two whiny ballads that are already in the final wins.

Then there is the Czech rebublic and someone kindly put a small taste of all of their songs into one youtube clip:

3 and 4 are great because i love songs in engrish, 7 is the czech peter allen... his song suchs, but he is worth it for the hawiian shirts. 9 is a little like lilly allen and the rest are of the average quality you expect from Eurovision

then there is Malta. could one country try any harder with Pop songs

Caravaggio - Claudia Faniello - she is trying to be madonna - in 1986... just less interesting
2.
Give me a chance - Eleanor Cassar - maybe all of Malta is stuck in the 80's... but she wants to be whiney houstons... without the talent and maybe without the drugs.

Casanova - Morena -i wonder if her dress would get shorter if she got into Eurovision - actually thats a given. a little rococco (remember them) meats latin music. , yeah malta is stuck in the 80's

Love is just the way - Rosman Pace - this guy really needs a stylist. and whats with the micro hipsters... he is a guy!!!! very we are the world... 80's again!!!

Go - Klinsmann Coleiro - a bit like last years entry from andorra... who i liked. i like this. it is a bit greenday. hey compared to the rest of Maltas stuff, this is brilliance.  < edit > it didnt get in *pout* < /edit >

Vodka - Morena - OMG this is the same chick from number 3 and she is in the same dress in the clip I am watching... GET A WARDROBE. I thought I would like this by the name, but I am over the chick. nice littel summer party song. Corey Delaney's theme song perhaps?

Street car of desire - Petra Zammit - dont try to shake your hips and be sexy when you are that size sweety. the blubber from your right is still catching up when you shake back from the left - nice bluesy song though
8.
Sunrise - Claudia Faniello - they dont have many singers in Malta, number one is also number 8 and this song isnt any better than the one.
