Hurricane are made up of previous Eurovision contestant Sanja Vučić (Serbia 2016), Eurovision backing singer Ksenija Knežević (Montenegro 2015), and dancer Ivana Nikolić. Will this be a winning Eurovision combination? In a word, no.
In 2020 the usual national selection Beovizija was used to select Hurricane’s song Hasta La Vista, and it was a shame the event was cancelled because we needed another Hasta La Vista, after Belarus in 2008 and Ukraine in 2003. After the cancellation Hurricane were given the opportunity to come up with a better song for 2021. It is fair to say they didn’t. with such a low bar you wouldn’t think it would be a hard task but it seems it was,
This is the first trio Serbia has sent to Eurovision since 2013. That was also the year that Serbia had their lowest score on record. They did come out with a win though, of the Barbara Dex award for worst dressed at Eurovision
