This song is a classic case of misheard lyrics. There is a line in this song that is apparently "Walk the way we're talking", though it sounds like "Fuck the way we're talking". The mishearing is likely intentional to gain favour for a fairly average song. Even though it is average though, it is very much a Eurovision song.
The official video to this song was released a few days ago, which I have yet to see, but an article on it proclaimed that fans love this song. What fans? Does Courtney Act have fans? Not of her music, surely? This song sounds like it wants to be Cascada with weak vocals. If this was sung by Cascada it would probably be amazing (as long as the timing is nailed) but Courtney Act's vocals are weak even in the recording and this could be a messy song live.
The fans I am reading are saying this sounds like a song from a Disney teen musical. I think the vocals would be better if it was. It is understandable that Courtney Act didn't make the top 12 in Australian Idol, and I don't think Shane will go to Eurovision.
