This is the first time Azerbaijan have missed the finals since they first entered in 2008. The song was better than Ireland and Lithuania. both of whom got through. No nightie on the final
Iceland
The best part of this song was Ari Ólafsson's jacket, though someone did point out that it made him look like a member of an Olympic team... Probably the Norwegian Curling team...
Another one that should have/could have got through. The lack of media and momentum behind this song and artist is probably what hurt it.

Another WTF song and performance from Belarus. This never looked like going through.

This never looked like qualifying. Dull song, sung as well as it could be. It probably only received votes from Cyprus, votes that were wasted and could have got something good through.
Armenia
Switzerland
It is interesting that the UK usually votes in the Semi that features Ireland, but France does not vote in the semi that features Belgium or Switzerland. When the full votes come out next week then it will be interesting to see if Ireland got through because of the UKs votes and who's place was scarified for this friendly little vote swap.
