perth airport is getting bigger

i dont mind the airport expanding, i dont mind air traffic, but there is a greater problem in my mind than just increasing the airport traffic, it is where is the airport traffic increasing to?
Where I live is Jandakot airport airpsace and my family home has been here for 40 years. when I was a child, we would watch in awe when a jumbo went above our home, they were so rare and they were so high up
we loved the smaller planes and we would watch training in formation flying and in stalls all the times as kids.
since then, for environmental and fuel efficiency reasons, plans now have a more gradual landing. now when we see planes overhear, they are at half the height they were at when I was a kid.
in my area you know when a jumbo is going to come because the sky goes quiet. the smaller planes from janakot are pulled away to allow the jumbo the flightpath. this is a recipe for disaster.
Jandakot is one of the busiest airports in Australia, at one stage is was THE busiest non-International airport. there are also plans to increase the traffic at Jandakot by having flights to and from the mines depart from Jandakot. where are they going to go? how are these planes going to get to and from Jandakot when they cant go anywhere when a jumbo approaches.
and Jumbos come here often. when I was a child, we were ecstatic when we saw one, now they are about every hour between 6am and 1am (and a further one usually comes through between 1am and 6am). every hour my side of Jandakot comes to a standstill for 5 minutes as a jumbo passes.
it is potentially fatal for a small plane to pass to close behind a jumbo because of the air movement
it would be potentially disastrous for a small plane to be in front of a jumbo as it came through. LAX has shown us how many people die when a small plane goes into the airspace of the jumbos.
Jandakot airport can have 10000 planes take of a depart a day for all i care. what we need to look into is how we manage our airspace. what planes can use what areas because i dont want someone to die because of Perth airports arrogance.
several years ago a small plane did an emergency landing around the corner from me. it never registered with CASA/ATSB. no investigation was ever formally done. how much ignorance must we put up with before something is either done about it or worse... someone dies.
the altitude that jumbos fly around Jandakot is not safe. there needs to be a separation, if not in area, in altitude to make sure no incidents happen. I am all for the environment, but the graduated landings cannot and should not be done by jumbos around Jandakot.
