Iceland/Islande
Hera Björk - Je ne sais quoi
Hera is a woman as big as the main Island of Iceland. I think this song will be huge, well atleast she is... nice choice of black with the low lighting on the stage to attempt to hide her, but it is like hiding a semi trailer on a football oval... you can still see it... all of it
The song isn't over until the fat lady sings, apt then that her song will be sung last in the first semi final. the song itself, to quote 'Absolutely Fabulous' is dull soulless dance music, right down to the keyboard riff the all popular dance music has to have, sampled from the X-files. very little of this is original and not much of it is really any good, and the ending... OMG that was just crap.
Crapness aside, this song will likely make it to the final, just. it is no where near as good at the second place getting song from last year and will not go very far in the final (unless few Nordic countries make it to the final... less neighbours and friends to share votes between will mean high votes for those who get in) lets home Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland all get in.
Now for Icelands history in Eurovision, and I chose this one just because the song was called 'Það Sem Enginn Sér', then I saw Daníel Augúst Haraldsson was a weird midget alterboy with pant hoiked up so high, I could tell his religion. Homeless people live in those pants... Icelandic fashion of 1989 was questionable to say the least....
