Alyosha - Sweet People
ok, So tell me again, what is it she is singing about? I mean I get that it is meant to be a moralistic song and all that hippy shit, but seriously, whats the point. yay power ballad. Go Ukraine...
In all seriousness it is not as interesting as Anonymous (Andorra) when they did 'Salvem El Món', to be honest, i fell asleep the first time I heard the Ukraine tonight and had to try listening to Alyosha again. You don't know how much that hurt. I mean the song is just so.... expected...
yeah the performance was a bit dull, but I am sure they will do something powerful with the performance on the night. with that and neighbourhood voting it will get through the semi. there is also the Chernobyl interpretation of this song which will get sympathy votes and so long as no country sends a sped to Oslo then this song will go top ten. and whats the chances of a retard going to Eurovision anyways...
Ukraine has proven that you can win Eurovision with a good performance and some leather off cuts. yeah I hate winners but Ruslana's 'Wild Dancers' is just cool for the bit just before the second chorus when the two male dancers are on either side of Ruslana dancing. you can see the look on their faces which just says 'Lets ditch the b!tch and lets go out the back'... or is that just a unfounded stereotype for male dancers... Lets see
