Hind - You're heart belongs to me (Hind as in 'in' not Hind as in 'eye)
This song makes me think two things. firstly 'what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine' and secondly MUFTAGE!!! wow, it has been a few days since I said that, but now that we are in western Europe, I should say it a bit more.
A poppy little break up song with a Turkish influence. yes it is the whole 'rip off a former winner' look. it isnt so bad that it is a toilet break song, more a 'getting more alcohol from the fridge' type song. it is dance-y and a bit more like a song that would have won in the years BL (Before Lordi) but I never know what is bad enough to win now.
as for the retro clip, I chose this one jst for the singers name, Sandra Reemer and 'The party's over now' from 1976. she changed her name to just Xandra in 1979 after being half so Sandra and Andres in 1972. but here is 1976, how this got through their national selection I would never know

Hind - You're heart belongs to me (Hind as in 'in' not Hind as in 'eye)
There was a time when I was in love with a fool
He stepped on my heart, bruised me, and broke the golden rule
There was a time I couldn’t tell weak from strong
A voice in my head kept saying this can’t go on
even though I longed, something’s wrong
You know your heart belongs to me
You made it clear to see
That we were never meant to be
Only a memory remains
Oh yes your heart belongs to me
But I’ve got to set you free
Cause we were never meant to be together
I’ve learned my lesson, now I know where I stand
Time heals all wounds and broken hearts will mend
I’ve read all the signs and now I’ve moved along
This carousel keeps turning on and on, and on and on
Life goes on
You know your heart belongs to me
You made it clear to see
That we were never meant to be
Only a memory remains
Oh yes your heart belongs to me
But I’ve got to set you free
Cause we were never meant to be together
I wish I was the wind, the sun the rain
And I could hold time in my hands
In my dreams I’ll fly high so I can reach the stars
I sit on top of a mountain and scream
When nobody hears me
Nobody sees me
You know your heart belongs to me
You made it clear to see
That we were never meant to be
Only a memory remains
Oh yes your heart belongs to me
But I’ve got to set you free
Cause we were never meant to be together
You know your heart belongs to me.
