passionpopslowly I am becoming more stretched when it comes to what fits into good. This weeks good is only 'good' because it attempts to put some class into Eurovision, rather than it just being filled with Ass. Latvia gave us a little song with Italian lyrics: 'Questa Notte' by Bonaparti.lv
Bonaparti/lv finished 5th in the semi, but 16th in the final. from that to a song that finished last in the final.
As hard it is to find something that is good, it is also hard to find something that is 'bad' comparatively to everything else from Eurovision, but then there is Ireland who were automatically in the final based on their 2006 result (the top ten from 2006 and the 'big four' all started in the final in 2007).
So Ireland could make sure they didnt start in the final in 2008, they sent in Devrish singing ' They Can't Stop The Spring'
finally, for Ugly we go to Israel. his song was almost disqualified before the even because of its political lyrics, and if it was disqualified, it would have done Israel a favour. it finished 24th out of 28 in the semi, a long way from the final... and even the controversy didn't make the singer look better because he was such an ugly man
fuck knows what I am going to fill this space with next week....
