Miodio - Complice
Mai avrei pensato a te
come mia complice
capace di capire ogni mia gioia o pianto
la pace di un momento
è tutto ciò che siamo
è tutto ciò che sento…
E vedo te
come l’immenso
come una lacrima
su un foglio bianco
tra sesso e musica
ho immaginato te
che sei molto di più
qualcosa che non c’è…
E sentirti parte di me
è come avere un angelo qui
a sostenere ogni mio passo incerto
e piove come sempre
quando ci ritroviamo
sospesi nel silenzio…(di un bacio)
E vedo te
come l’immenso
come una lacrima
su un foglio bianco
tra sesso e musica
ho immaginato te
che sei molto di più
qualcosa che non c’è…
…come l’immenso
come una lacrima
su un foglio bianco
tra sesso e musica
ho immaginato te
che sei molto di più
qualcosa che non c’è…
e vedo te
come l’immenso
come una lacrima
su un foglio bianco
tra sesso e musica
ho immaginato te
che sei molto di più
qualcosa che non c’è…
I never would have thought of you as my accomplice
Capable of understanding my every joy or sorrow
The peace of a moment
Is all that we are
Is all that I feel
And I see you as the immensity
Like a tear on a white page
Between sex and music, I thought of you
That you are so much more, something that isn't there
And feeling you as a part of me
Is like having an angel
Sustain my every uncertain step
As always it rains
When we find ourselves
Suspended in the silence of a kiss
And I see you as the immensity
Like a tear on a white page
Between sex and music, I thought of you
That you are so much more, something that isn't there
And I see you as the immensity
Like a tear on a white page
Between sex and music, I thought of you
That you are so much more, something that isn't there
For many years there has been a call for Italy to come back into the Eurovision Song Contest, as they haven't entered since 1997. they rarely won, but their songs were always popular, in fact Domenico Modugno's 'Nel Blu Di Pino Di Blu' ('Volare') was voted as the second most popular Eurovision song EVER (behind ABBA's 'Waterlooo'). Italy has the problem though that their leader personally owns some of their TV network and his government controls the national broadcaster, and well... he has to remain in control and with Eurovision the EBU would be in control so he doesn't like it. didums
Last year, prayers were thought to be answered when San Marino decided that it was too late to enter for 2007, but they definitely would enter the 2008 song contest. No longer would Eurovision have to be content with Latvia and Romania giving us snippets of Italian, we would have a dedicated, Italian speaking nation in Eurovision.
So what did the prayers give us.... Emos.... need I say more, I think not.
Now I was thinking about putting an Italian clip for the retro clip, but then I thought about how Sicilians hat being called Italian and Sicily is governed by Italy, so I thought I would think about what San Marino means to me and well.... San Marino makes me think of sheep so.... though this isn't the song I wanted:
