Olta Boka - Zemrën E Lamë Peng (we put both of our hearts at stake)
Ora si zemër troket
Ora e çmendur rend
Akrepa nuk ka
Kohën vodhe ti nga jeta ime
Bora e zërit tënd
Mbi zemrën time ra
Mbuloi,Strehën e fundit, Të dashurisë
Dhe ndalen akrepat atje
Ditë pas dite ne
Rrahje pas rrahje
Më kot kërkuam
Or’ e përkryer, Një zemër jo kurrë s’mund të jetë
Natë pas nate ne
Rrahje pas rrahje
Ne të larguar
Por jo nuk mundëm
Se zemrën të dy e lame peng
Ora si zemër troket
Ora e çmendur rend
Akrepa nuk ka
Kohën vodhe ti nga jeta ime
Bora e zërit tënd
Mbi zemrën time ra
Mbuloi,Strehën e fundit, Të dashurisë
Dhe ndalen akrepat atje
Ditë pas dite ne
Rrahje pas rrahje
Më kot kërkuam
Or’ e përkryer, Një zemër jo kurrë s’mund të jetë
Natë pas nate ne
Rrahje pas rrahje
Ne të larguar
Por jo nuk mundëm
Se zemrën të dy e lame peng
I think the keyword in the title of this song is 'Lame'. I mean seriously, what is it this year with writing half a song then repeating the whole thing and calling it a whole song... it is what they have done in Albania, Bulgaira and Armenia this year and I am pretty over it, like yesterday.
Laziness aside, if they keep the volume down on the music in the verse so the vocals can be heard, I think this might be a winner. I am not saying this is a good song, dont be mistaken... it is a pop ballad, but I think with an actual second verse this could be a beautiful power-ballad (if thats not an oxymoron). I still dont get the shit about the heart being replaced with a clock, but hey, the French might vote for it just because it it... mad stuff like that...
and just for the rules of the Eurovision drinking game, the retro song is Ledina Celo from 2005 with 'tomorrow I go' and seriously she should have gone yesterday. this song was only worth it because it was a drink for imitating a style from a previous year... being 2003 and Turkey

The clock ticks like a heart
The clock runs crazy, it has no hands
You stole the time from my life
The coldness of your voice fell on my heart
Covering the last shelter of love
Ha… ha…
And the hands of time stop there
Day after day, we
Beat after beat, we looked in vain
For the perfect clock
Which a heart can never be
Night after night, we
Beat after beat, we grew apart
But no, we couldn’t
Because we both put our hearts at stake
Ah…
The clock ticks like a heart
The clock runs crazy, it has no hands
You stole the time from my life
The coldness of your voice fell on my heart
Covering the last shelter of love
