Eurovision Review: Estonia

Estonia, Estonia, Estonia. The country that produced one of my favouite ever Eurovision track, "Eighties coming back" by Ruffus has this year churned out the biggest load of engrish tripe with Suntribe, "Let's get loud".

That is a serious song. cold they have rpped of more Beatles lines? As for Lets get loud, the Eurovision entry for this year, I am trying to decide if this is more Spice Girls of Hi5. is it prehistoric or the new Piero and the MusicStars. Personally I don't even think it is that good.  think what makes it worst is it seems they are trying to rip off everything that was ever crap in the world. the clip tries to be Avril, ABBA, Spice Girls, theres a bit of Agadoo in there, a heap of british pop and american trash... but nothing original. not that will hamper them in Eurovision, but hey

I Guess you have to feel sorry for Estonis though, they are sending their second best act. their best act is Vanilla Ninja whou are competing for Switzerland. but there can be no excuse for this rubbish. if you cant send anything reasonable (or only reasonably bad) to Eurovision, you should be banned from sending anything at all

I just downloaded that Ruffus song. It's a ripper, I really like it. Sounds very like The Sports or Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons. Which are '80s bands, so there you go.

other great Eurovision moments are Lou with "lets get happy" and "hasta la vista baby" (the name of the band illudes me atm though)
