Two internal selections, neither of which are original, but originality is not a requirement of Eurovision. The last winning song for the Netherlands was in 1975 and that sounded like a TV show theme song (though it did have the classic line "and you walk along with your Ding dang dong"). This song is at least better than previous Dutch winners like "De troubadour", "Een Beetje" and "Net als toen"
Duncan Laurence is currently favourite with the bookmakers, but then so was Italy in 2017 and they finished 6th (the year Portugal came in from 5th 6 weeks out to win) so anything in the top 5 could still win and Switzerland are third with the bookmakers, though the song sounds like it wants to be be "Despacito". Why not sounds like "Ne partez pas sans moi" or "Refrain" or a winner like that... well... ok I understand.
Both of these will come down to performance, but right now I am going The Netherlands
