Artist: Loreen
Song: Tattoo
Currently with bookmakers: 1st (3/4- ~1/1)
Place 2022: 4th (Final)
Wins: 6 (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, 2015)
Loreen famously won Eurovision in 2012, 8 years after finishing 4th in Idol in Sweden. She has had 5 top 20 singles in Sweden but outside of Sweden it is for her Eurovision winning Euphoria that is best known, which too be fair I thought was more of a performance than a song, compared with this year which is definitely better without the visuals.
Tattoo counts Loreen as a song writer as well as the famous Thomas G:Son, who also co-wrote Euphoria for Loreen in 2012. Tattoo is G:Son's 16th Eurovision song. It made it to Eurovision via Melodifestivalen beating 27 other songs to get to Eurovision, even though the performance was criticised. Loreen starts of as a human sandwich where the top layer of bread is slowly raised throughout the song allowing her to stand in the second chorus. In 2012 Loreen's Eurovision performance was largely unchanged from Melodifestivalen, so she will probably bring the sandwich to Liverpool which may offend some of the local sandwich makers.

If Loreen wins with her return to Eurovision, she will be only the second person to win two Eurovisions as an artist, the other being Ireland's Australian born Johnny Logan. Sweden would also equal Ireland on 7 Eurovision wins. It would also be third time lucky at the double attempt with Charlotte (Neilson) Perrelli returning in 2008 after winning in 1999, and Carola returning in 2006 after this closely fought win from 1991
