Chanel is a Cuban singer and actress who won Benidorm Fest 2022 with her Debut single. Alvan is a electronic artist from Brittany who  combined with traditional kan ha diskan group Ahez to win Eurovision France, c'est vous qui décidez! Though this is the first single for Alvan and Ahez combined, both have been performing music separately for the last 5 or so years. 

Alvan and Ahez wrote the song themselves, Alvan wrote the music and Marine Lavigne from Ahez the music. Chanel enlisted the writing talents of some writers from the US for SloMo, including Keith Harris who has worked with Usher, the Black Eyed Peas, Robin Thicke, and Madonna. SloMo also includes the talents of Leroy Sanchez who one of the writers of last years Spanish entry which finished with 6 points. Chanel has to get more points than that. 

In the end though Eurovision is an entertainment spectacular and whoever has the best performance wins. Chanel definitely has the dance routine to win and probably also the costume (or lack there of) to get the audience attention. There is something about ethno-dance though, particularly when it doesn't have too much in the way of grating vocals. Besides the aspect ratio on the Spanish clip shits me
