Destiny is hot favourite to win Eurovision and if she did she would be the first person to win both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision, which she won in 2015. Though this song should be up there, I keep hearing Moldova’s 2012 Eurovision song in the chorus
After being a backing vocalist at Eurovision in 2019 Destiny was due to go to Eurovision 2020. She was selected in 2020 after winning X-Factor Malta. After the event was cancelled Destiny was announced as being the Maltese entry from 2021. Malta always tried to put something good on stage and last year’s song could have been up there if the event went ahead. This year’s song is probably marginally better, but it is a matter of taste.
From someone who came to Eurovision’s attention as a little child to a song about a little child from 1992. Destiny was minus 10 when this song was performed.
