Tusse is a talent show graduate who has some Swedish writing power behind this song. The song writers have written popular singers like Akon, but mainly for other Eurovision stars. The writers are also involved in another song this Eurovision. but that is the cross-pollination of Eurovision

Tusse came up against The Mamas in the semi, who after being the backing singers in 2019 were hot favourites in 2020 and won Melodifestivalen before Eurovision was cancelled. This year their song was not really much different to their 2020 Melodifestivalen entry, which probably played against them leaving them to finish third in 2021. Tusse's song is probably better for a big stadium performance. I just can't bring myself to care for the song. 

Among the other competitors this years Melodifestivalen contestants were two time Eurovision contestant who won in 1999 Charlotte Perrelli (Nilsson), 2011's Eric Saade, and these guys.
