Appearances: 15

Selection method: National selection A Dal 2018
Vote: 4x Jury plus 1x public in the semis. Elimination final Jury only, Superfinal public only
Winner: AWS
Song: Viszlát nyár.
This is not Eurovision music. This is something people might actually pay to watch and so it doesn’t belong at Eurovision. It is rock, ok a little pop-rock, but the drum solo is pretty good and well the drumming is the highlight, but this is not a Eurovision song so it make it better than most of the competition.
In A Dal this song barely made it to the superfinal but in the end what the public wants the public gets. If it had been the jury’s way Gergely Dánielfy would be going to Eurovision. The Jury was boring.
Hungary is not expected to do well at Eurovision and it could be the first time since their return in 2011 that they don’t make the final. That’s what they get for sending Metallica Junior who are trying to make it sound like their balls have dropped when they really haven’t…
Hungary is not a country that usually ‘brings it’ to Eurovision, but in 1988 Charlie certainly had the moves.
