Donny Montell - I've Been Waiting For This Night
It is a nice little pop song about a guy getting his cherry popped that is sung by a 28 year old. At first I thought the girl I the clip was a hooker. She probably is and the club scene is there to hide the fact that he had to pay. At least she would have taught him well.
What I am looking forward to with this song is the dance moves Donny gave us in 2012. More dodgy dance and more one hand cartwheels. You cannot get enough of that in Eurovision. Talent and originality would be nice, but circus tricks will do at a pinch.
This song is in the bottom half with the bookmakers, but Donny also started in the bottom 15 in 2015 and still got to the final and finished 18th, and considering this song is a lot better than that was, I think this will get through, just…
The only thing Donny has is he is a pretty young boy. Much prettier than Lithuania’s first entry in 1994
