During the week one of my oldest friends decided to give my personal mobile number to some random guy (who is friends with his workmate) to set me up with this 'nice guy' that he has never met WITH OUT MY PERMISSION.

when it is cool to give anyone someone elses mobile number without their permission? but this friend thought it was a good idea AND STILL THINKS IT IS A GOOD IDEA!

That's not cool on any level. Just before I went on leave, I got a phone call at work on my personal mobile. A friend's husband is one of my users, and he got my phone number off her a while ago (and was already in my bad books for calling me on a weekend to ask for help), and he had given it out to another user. I don't really like people sharing my *work* mobile number, but handing out my personal number is so wrong.

I posted a massive rant on my Facebook about it, and strangely neither he or his wife commented on it. But I'm not happy with him and I don't think I'll be chatty with him anymore

as revenge, you should post his mobile number on random forums... put it in your sig file...
