I am still having issues with noise on my line. the following has now been emailed to telstra:

HI Shelly

if you get your residential faults team to look even further into this, ie: at the previous faults lodged, you will see:
1) on Monday the 31st of December I confirmed that I had tested the line and noticed the noise fault. when I tested this there was one corded phone attached directly to the socket (no filter)
2) on saturday the 5th of January a tech attended. he used his testers phone direct in the socket, no filter and he also noticed the fault. he also advised that when he was at the pillar he noticed RF buffers (?) on a number of lines in the pillar (though not mine) he also tested my line and number of other lines at the street and discovered they all had the line noise. he informed me he could not put an RF buffer (?) on the line and another tech would come by in the next week to do this
3) the following week, the most useless oxygen thief walked into out house and despite all of this he blamed the filter.

now you are blaming the filter/modem for the noise

please tell the staff at faults that before they waste my time further, to look at these previous faults. once they have done that email me and confirm when my line will have an RF buffer put on it

thankyou.
