Slovenia/La Slovénie
Ansambel Žlindra & Kalamari - Narodnozabavni Rock
This song is a little less serious, or what is known as 'the toilet break'. OMG Slovenia, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! yes, a little bt of Ethnic hlps a song poll well but this is too ethnic. OMG folk and rock... what were you thinking? it is the 2010 contest not the 1970 one! you are like 40 years too late!
in the words of the great Terry Wogan, 'That was truly awful'. this is up there with the horid think Bosnia & Herzegovina sent to Eurovision 2 years ago... I am still traumatised by Laka's 'Pokusaj' but Slovenia will vanish into Obscurity this year, this wont make the final and if it does... I will have t get very drunk to block out the trauma.
Some Ethno rock is fun, like Zdob si Zdub with 'bunica bate toba' ('Grandma plays the drums'), which is a song that will go down in Eurovision history but... Word cannot convey how crap Slovenia is this year. I am over it
Time for Eurovision History, Darja švajger - Prisluhni mi. less crap, more boring. 'nuff said
