Ireland: Sinéad Mulvey & Black Daisy 'Et Cetera'
It is the Irish version of The Bangles... actually no, it isnt even that good. it is The Bangles meets Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne in hot pink leggings, either way I heard that old song many times. it is like someone gathered together all the things thank make a pop/rock/chick song and boiled them down and came up with this crap. boil more damn it, make it all go away!
Then there are the hot pink leggings. I remember when they were fashionable. pink leggings look good on so few people. so many people seem to think thet pink leggings look good on them and most are wrong, very wrong. this is a case of she is too skinny for hot pink leggings (yes there is too skinny). I think black daisy and the skinny chick will need to get a wardrobe designer before they get to Moscow.
This song isnt terrible, by Eurovision standards, it isnt too bad. It is in the top three of the songs Ireland has sent to Eurovision in the past decade anyways, but the they are up against a real turkey in that draw.... anyway this will do well but wont win
Ghost of Eurovision Past - Dickie Rock 'Come Back to Stay' (1966) this is Irelands Second Eurovision and yes I chose this song because of the singers name. he didnt take home the winners cup, he was the cup... OMG they are ears dumbo would be proud of.
