Winner: never (though that could possibly be out of pity because they woud be too poor to host the contest anyway)
Expected place: 9th in the final.

Romania - Elena Gheorghe ' The Balkan Girls'
If I ever get around to it, i will post translations to some of these songs on my blog. Sure Elena Gheorghe was singing in english, but trust me, you will need a translation.
this is the traditional summer pop song that Eurovision is all about, and it is about time i found one to review. Is it any good... it is a eurovision song. the vocals arent as stong as they should be but she stuck to the formular for a Eurovision win. will it win. in a word: no
this song could be something by Aqua, it is lame and brainless. I know there are stonger vocalists i the country too, I mean in 2006 Romania sent Mihai Traistariuwho sung 'Tornero' which came 4th and is one of my favourite Eurovision songs ever (and my list of favourite Eurovision songs is not too long). they couldn have sent better, though this will do well... as a toilet break
Ghost of Eurovision Past: Malina Olinescu - 'Eu Cred' 1998. this was Romanias second attempt in Eurovision and they didnt quite get it, did they
