I have a bath, I have some tim tams, I have a book... now all I need is a hot chocolate and some hot water in the tub and then i am going to have a soak

Good life for some. I have an icy westerly and horizontal rain. Fortunately I have the fire on and a warm cat on my lap. which had better move soonish else I can't put more wood on the fire

yeah we have got the fire going now. it is a nice place to sit and read, which is what i may do this evening, though the chunk of wood i just put into the pot belly was a little big so the house will smell smoky tonight... mmmm bbq

I've been melting here. Luckily it cooled down overnight from some rain but our apartment catches the evening sun, and being summer here, it gets hot hot hot. And the guys don't want to use the air-conditioner so we don't have to re-charge the power card before we leave on Friday. Heat and smog don't go well together either, so I don't really want to open up the windows.

*sigh* the grass is always greener....

when i was staying in a backpackers in Darwin years ago, someone unplugged the air con to charge their mobile, despite there being another power point in the room, and then opened a window to cool the room down
