I forget home much vic road laws suck. it is 50kms in residential areas. it is only in school zone in the hour or so when school starts and finishes each day we have 40kmh zones.

mmmm hook turns... though I agree with the logic...

Hook turns are scary! Getting hit by a tram is a little more scary though :)

See, mostly it's 50 in residential, except for like busy shopping strips which are 40 from like 6am-midnight, and school zones which are normally 40 for that hour and a half at the ends of the day, but some of the school zones are permanently 40

see thats what I love about melbourne... Kmart at 11pm. when I lived in brunswick, me and my friend who live in west brunswick would randomly drive up the hume to get mud sludges from kmart late at night. sure we could have gone to safeway before 10, but kmart was fun.

the funniest was when I was shopping at like 8.30 on some random night and I was on my mobile to a friend in perth. she didnt realise I was shopping until I mentioned 'ooo tim tams are on special'. then I explained to her that melbourne has deregulated trading hours and she responded with 'bitch'

Hehehe, deregulated trading hours are awesome! We went to adelaide and everything was shut on a sunday!

oh yeah, tell me about it.

last state election we had a referendum to ring deregulated trading to perth (wa country already has it) and it was a no... 60% no. WFT mate.

this election labor has put a platform of that they will bring deregulated trading hours if they are voted in.

yeah but the IGA group (who were independent chains like farmer Jacks, foodland, Action) started a campaign against it about 3 years before the referendum (I still have a pamphlet for it somewhere which is an amusing read), then, straight after the IGAs were given the right to have any hours they wanted but major chains weren't (companies which have less then 12 employees i think are exempt from the regulation) IGA sold out all of the various chains back to the IGA group. part of the argument was that WA owned companies would suffer, and they were all sold out to the east based IGA group about 1 month after the referendum

the complaint about the IGA group is because they are the only ones with the longer hours, they have inflated prices, less selection and less customer service (i once had to explain consumer protection laws to the manager of the IGA in Yangebup to get an rein check on an item that had sold out to his admission 3 days into a 7 day sale of it)

even with the IGAs though, most close at 8pm, there is a few doted around that close at 8.30 or 9, but thats the latest. we dont get the crazy 24 hours coles, safeway, big W and Kmarts that I have seen over east

Yeah this season = way better than the last one. There's an ep where Ianto has some really brill one liners.

In conclusion, it gets better. Though I am still undecided about Owen's latest character development. (cryptic so I don't spoil you and all. ;)

Just got around to watching that one myself. WTF "if we film them then expose the film, they will die"? Sounds like Rusty-logic to me.

Also, they're all happy about saving that one boy and all I could think was that the poor kid has noone cos the rest of his family died. :(

likewise. it would have been more merciful to let him die. the poor kid in the cinema losing both his parents too. meh. they left it open for a comeback though, I mean I can just see a season finale with chaos as all these undefeated creatures come back as well as lots of other fun things as the rift rips open. great also that they have left owen to be able to die whenever. another nice piece for the cliff-hanger. maybe martha can come back permanently... maybe ioanto can become a doctor in the season break... it is all possible
