a fishy tale

the other day bruce died.

it was not really a surprise though, he had been looking stressed for a while and i put it down to my laziness in cleaning the tank. i found it surprising though that only he looked stressed and the girls didnt.

so today i went looking for a new boy, though i wanted a different colour, not red or blue so i sought one out.

i firstly went to karrinuyp to get some money

then i went to better pets and gardens to get kitty litter and see if they had a gold fighter (yes i wanted a gold fish....) but they only had two boys left, a red one and a blue one *sigh*

so i drove to malaga. there is a shop out there that i have seen gold ones at, so i went there and they had heaps of blue and red and even a white one with blue fins, but i wanted a gold one

i then stopped at malaga dirt mall (malaga markets)they only had one blue one left

i then figured i would go to morley. i stopped at mirrabooka on the way and they dont even have a pet shop.

i hen went towards morley and accidentally went down grand prom to get there, so i figured i would stop at dianella plaza.... and they had a white one so he is mine

i then brought him home and acclimatised him and then let him go into the tank. within a minute gyngell had attacked him

Gyngell has been becoming a bit of a brute. with bruce i noticed that his tail was disappearing, but i put it down to stress, but always thought maybe itis one of the girls. gyngell also started chasing mcavany around alot, and perhaps i  should have put two and two together earlier.

after i saw gyngell attack kim the second time, i put gyngell into solitary confinement. i then thought i would call better pets and gardens, wherei got gyngell from to see if i could swap her

at first she said it was that kim must be a juvenile male, but then i told her that i had had bruce for a year, and i suspected now that his tail was vanishing because of gyngell, though i could never prove it. she agreed that gyngell may be a boy and said i could trade her/him/it in

and yeas, as soon as i put the butch bitch that is gyngell on the table, and carol, who i spoke to on the phone saw her, she confirmed she was a he.

so today i got two new siamese fighting fish, kim and hughes. they live with bruce's ex mcavany.

now i hope the new girl is actually a girl

and now mcavany is chasing hughes around the tank
