Eurovision review: Lituanie

Lithuania/Lituanie
Inculto: 'Eastern European Funk'
I have a bit of a soft spot for Lithuania in Eurovision, and this year I think Lithuania is cute. They arent so much, but look at those funky trousers! pity they didn't keep them on for the whole song. There is something about pasty why Lithuanian skin that doesn't really appeal to me...
Besides the pants, this song has other things going for it... it has a Kazoo in it... actually two... how good is that! and it has blow up plastic toy instruments. even the 'roadie dances'! and how can you go past these lyrics: We've had it pretty tough, But that's ok, we like it rough, We'll settle the score, We survived the reds and 2 world wars.
OK so they probably wont be getting big points from Russia, but I am sure Georgia will make up for that. *sigh* what would Eurovision be without politics... oh thats right, actually within the rules...
I think this song is a top ten contender, but that depends on how weak the rest of the field runs, and this year it appears pretty pissweak. It could be their best finish since 'we are the winners' which didn't win... it came 6th. regardless though, this song ha got style and sophistication. ok it might not by Skamp had some in 2001.
