Niamh Kavanagh: It's For You

Happy St Patrick's day. Please drink sensibly, I would like you to make it 'til this years Eurovision, even if it so you have to hear this song...

This is this years first repeat offender. Nimah last gave us the pleasure of her vocals in 1993, when she won the contest, Ireland's second win of their Hat-trick. after hearing this 'tune' I wonder how I could forget her voice... blocked it out as trauma possibly...

This song isn't terrible, it is just vocally poor - but hey, thats Manure-o-vision. This song will possibly be worth a drink in the Eurovision drinking game for the 'High & loud obnoxious noises emitted from singer during their act', ok it is painful because 'The song goes up half an octave in the last refrain', which is also a drink. Wow, Ireland and alcohol are friends this Eurovision, who'd have thunk it....

my review isnt paying out on her because i am bitter that they are not sending some cute Irish boy to Eurovision... oh how i like those accents... actually even an un-ugly irish boy is fine... *swoon*, but seriously, this song is just, carp. Who wants to hear a ranga warble anyways

Niamh Kavanagh, who was also a backing vocalist for a few of the songs from the Commitments (remember that film?) last sung 'In Your Eyes' on Eurovision, which featured a much stronger vocal performance than what I have seen on this years song. she is one of 7 wins Ireland has had in Eurovision (1970, 1980, 1987, 1992,1993, 1994 and 1996), and though this years song will poll well, it wont do as well as Niamh did with this song:
