The Busker Is representing Malta, a country that takes Eurovision quite seriously despite never winning. To become the representative at Eurovision for this island nation of just over half a million people, you have to beat 40 other artists over a serious of 3 quarter finals, a semi final and a grand final. After all of that selection some buskers using the name The Busker won the ticket to Eurovision based on an overwhelming public vote, despite being second with the Jury to Matt Blxck's "Up". Neither act was whelming.
Dance (Our Own Party) has a cool sax line that will probably be sampled all European summer. The Sax is about all this song has and it is not even Epic like the most famous sax guy Eurovision gave us. The nothingness of this song will probably see it drowned by other acts in the Semi. Once it is gone, only he sax will remain.
This song is not tipped to qualify from the final, but it should not come dead last like Malta did in 1972. Slim pickings gave us the accountant and his receptionist...
