Place 2022: 24th of 25 in the final
Wins: 5 (1958, 1960, 1962, 1969, 1977)
La Zarra is the second Canadian to represent France and was an internal selection for 2023. Initally France was going to use a national selection but later announced La Zarra would be their representative and it is a fair choice
Évidemment was co-written and co-produced by Banx & Ranx who are known for working with Sean Paul, Zach Zoya, Ella Eyre and many other people the kids may have heard of, as well as Gorillaz and David Guetta for the older peeps. It is at least an interesting song that should be performed well. An average song can win with a good performance and This is worth a fiver.
Around 2016 La Zarra featured on a version of the Nero single "Printemps Blanc". In 1961 France also send a song about spring, though that was "Printemps, avril carillonne" and it was nowhere near as good as this years song.
