Jaguar Jonze is a very recent JJJ discovery who won a place on the Falls Festival line up for Byron Bay, Fortuitous that it was not Lorne which was cancelled.She is the most untested of the acts of Australia decides, despite this though she has generated a small following.
Jaguar's song would fit on JJJ in any year of the last 25. The theme is her borderline(?) narcissism caused by her PTSD and anxiety. The song seems to list some of her narcissistic acts, but it is ok because she has an excuse. If it wasn't for the lyrics, this could almost be a good song.
Jaguar Jonze's song is different from most of the others in this very middle of the road Australia Decides for 2020. Still narcissism dressed up as art is still narcissism and it is doubtful her small following will win her the chocolates.
