Eurovision review: Ireland
Mar. 6th, 2011 02:01 pmIreland are the most successful country in Eurovision. Since their first win with "all kinds of everything" in 1970, they have just owned Eurovision.. with a little help from a Frankston boy.
in recent years it has appeared that Ireland hasn't been trying to win Eurovision, however this years entry is very trying indeed.

'Am I headed for a car crash?', oh god please yes, I hope they crash and burn. There are Irish ex-pats who are now regretting not going back to Ireland just to vote against these boys. The embarrassment felt by some is equal to that of when Dustin the Turkey represented Ireland.
In all seriousness though these boys could do well in Eurovision, though they will likely be like tATu, all hype and crash on the night, but they are bloody good little performers. Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.... to quote Priscilla...
maybe I am desensitised to crap, but the more I hear this song, the less I mind it. It is just them I object to. They are everything Silvia Night satirised in 2006 in duplicate. For Ireland sake, nay for Europe sake, i hope they dont win.
