quite quiet

sorry I have been quiet, i am getting my arse into gear and i will eventually have boat anchor III: revenge of the killer boat anchor up and running. i am currently using baby ben to access teh intarwebs

anyway, story of the day, michael jackson died
yeah everyone knows

I got home from work and dad had the news on and it was all they were talking about. i went to the other room and sat in front of the pot belly. dad came out back and i said 'dad, did you hear'
dad: 'what?'
me: 'michael jackson died'
dad: 'oh'

later dad tapped me on the shoulder and said 'guess what?'
me: 'what?'
dad: michael jackason died'
me: *shocked voice* 'no!'

so we are watching the news on 9 and again they were talking about michael jackson and dad was already fed up with it because they were doing an extended news broadcast to talk about it and then on a current affair the first ting after the news was fgoing to be michael jackson. as he complained i said 'dad, I have two words for you... LADY DIANA'
dad: 'what is she dead?

later:

me: 'she died about 12 yeqars ago'
dad:' and they are still talking about her'

anyway I will catch up on lj and update more when baby ben is up and running....
