Currently with bookmakers: 21st (125/1-269/1)
Place 2022: 17th (Last) in Semi Final 1

Joker Out were an internal selection for Slovenia by RTS, despite early confirmation that Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) would be used to select the 2023 artist. Maybe Melania Trump approached her home nation to compete and they decided to avoid that train wreck and found another to send, not that Jokers out are bad, they are just cheap Killers rip-offs.
Carpe Diem is not a bad song and if you had not heard anything by the Killers it would be even better or any other indie rock from the last 20 years. It also has the elements to do well, it is catchy, has a good beat, and the performers are cute.
Slovenian rock has come a long way and this years song may make the top ten which would only be the third time Slovenia has reached those lofty heights. They didn't make the top ten when they sent a Rock guitarist to perform in 1998, but that was a long time ago.
