I suck at being lonely.
Charley is a Sydney based singer formerly known as Claire Howell from the Gold Coast. After two unsuccessful attempts on the Voice I would change my name too, to be fair.
The song sounds like it is about a young girl who keeps going back to a shitty relationship because she is desperate. Is this song about her former boyfriend and The Voice Australia contestant Calvin Swart? Who cares. Regardless it is a little weak and and the thin high notes at the end sound like someone trying to blow out upper register on a clarinet when they don't have enough air to push through.
Being a local Charley will have fans in the stadium, but it is doubtful this song will get traction with the voters. Bottom of the pile.
