passionpopanother ten songs have made it to the grand finale and 8 songs ended their Eurovision journey. some failed in their attempt so spectacularly that words cannot describe it, but here is some to try
This songs biggest failing was the lighting. They used the wrong lighting for the cinematography and it ruined the look of the choreography and it distracted from an otherwise not terriible song.
This was never going to qualify. San Marino has only qualified once and this song had poorly written lyrics and blatantly ripped off Heroes. also was the robot pulling the finger to the crowd?
Russia
This was only sent so Russia could hold the higher ground over the Ukraine incident last year. It was never intended to win
there was nothing interesting in this performance. Even people who are into ethocrap want to see a performance and this had none
There is one point in this song that you can see Gromee cringing before plastering on a fake smile. I think it was Lukas Meijer's vocals making him cringe. they made the audience cringe
Another singer who could barely hit a single note. Shame really
There was too much ethnocrap in this Semi and only a limited amount of people who are into it enough to get it through. Montenegro lost out so Serbia could get through
In addition to Serbian ethnocrap, 9 other songs got through. some did not nail the performance to the wall, like Australia. We got Hungarian rock and we got Slovenia with a gimmicky little performance that if it happens in the Final, will wear thin with fans.
Romania
